Wednesday: Garden Debris
Thursday: Recycling
Please place bags of trash/garden debris/recycling out before 7 a.m. on the morning of each respective collection. They may also be placed out after dark on the night before. Bags that are placed outside before dusk of the preceding evening may be subject to Trash Violation Fines.
Non-Collectible Refuse – The following items will not be picked up and are subject to fines.
- Any materials generated by a private contractor.
- Earth, stones, trees.
- Hazardous chemicals such as fluorescent bulbs, pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, or paint thinners. These items must be disposed of at Mercer County Hazardous Waste. For information on the disposal of these hazardous chemicals, call 609-278-8086.
- Tires, automotive parts of any kind.
Surveillance is used in the trash areas to ensure safety and compliance. Fines are $100 for the first offense and $150 for the second offense and $200 for subsequent offenses. Violations that occur over the weekend are subject to doubled amounts. Loss of non-essential privileges may occur. These include, but are not limited to, removal of parking spaces, pool privileges, and community room rental.
